DAF GETS A BIG LIFT

Edinburgh based crane hire and machinery movement specialist, Bernard Hunter Ltd has recently put two new DAF trucks into service, supplied by Lothian DAF. The FTG CF85.460 went into service at the beginning of October and was preceded by a FTT XF105.510 Super Space Cab some months earlier.

The CF is used to haul a variety of trailers, whilst its STGO Category 3 rated, larger sibling usually shifts counterbalance weights and ancillary equipment for the firm's 500 ton Liebherr crane.

Both of these prime movers were specified with ZF 16 speed manual gearboxes, wet kits and SB Components dual compartment diesel hydraulic oil tanks.

Broxburn based Courtney & McMillan applied for the paint finishes and graphics for the duo.
